Brittany A. Forbes, PT, DPT, FAAOMPT, OCS, Dip. Osteopractic, Cert DN, Cert SMT, Cert MST, Cert PBFR

I’m an athlete. I always have been and always will be. I grew up playing soccer, volleyball, softball, and snowboarding. I played on school teams as well as club and premiere teams in soccer and volleyball. I had the benefit of coaches who commanded excellence and inspired a strong work ethic in all training. My competitive and driven background in sports certainly supported my foundation of constantly striving to progress. The foundation of pursing optimal performance, my work ethic and my passion for helping others has driven my constantly advancing knowledge in Physical Therapy. I strive to be the best, so that I can give the best.

I attended Daemen College in Buffalo, NY excelling in an accelerated Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. After graduation, I had the pleasure of moving to the mountains of NC where I was promoted to the Director of Rehabilitation department within 6 months. I had immense opportunities to support the community through providing both inpatient and outpatient physical therapy as well as developing and hosting multiple fundraisers for the Non-profit hospital. I was able to raise enough funds to bring new equipment and treatment options to the PT department, as well as to open a new building for the growing physical therapy department. From here, I was invited to join a team in OBX. Who wouldn’t want to move to the beach? I took the opportunity to learn and grow with a larger team of therapists working in Orthopedics.

This is where I met my wonderful husband and got married. Wanting to find the best home for our future family, we decided to move to Hampstead, NC and build our family and community here. I spent a number of years working with a high-level PT owned-physical therapy practice that supported my constant drive for advancing knowledge and practice. Throughout my career, I have attended countless hours of continuing education to continue to learn and employ highly skilled treatments.
